The core mission of MMI is to provide Health, Healing, and Hope to the world's sick, suffering, and needy people.

Q Where is the money going?
A Among other projects, MMI uses your donations to help fight tuberculosis in Africa and the Philippines. We have a brochure called Introducing Medical Mission International, which describes our programs, vision and operating principles. To receive a free copy, send us your information and we’ll mail one out to you right away.
Q Do you have annual programme reports?
A Yes, we have an annual programme report that is sent out automatically to most of our donors. If you would like to receive a copy, give us your information and we will put you on the mailing list for the next annual programme report.
Q Is MMI-HK legally set up in HONG KONG?
A Yes, we are legally set up and are compliant with all the necessary incorporation procedures required by HKSAR and we have obtained tax exemption status from Inland Revenue.
Q Can I make a credit card donation?
A Of course. We can receive credit card donations through the mail or by phone. Contact us.
Q Will you take my name off your mailing list?
A Of course. Please send back the reply card with your name and address on it with the message ‘please take my name off your mailing list’ and we will do so. It may take six to eight weeks for the regular mail to stop coming. Also, please give us your telephone number, so we can call you back if we need to. Thank you again for your support.
Q How did you get my name?
AThere are many ways we find names of people who we think are interested in helping the sick. Our research people probably felt that you loved people and would want to help.
Q Will MMI receive donations of bonds, stocks, jewelry, precious metals, real estate or other valuables?
A MMI is very happy to turn these gifts into help for sick and suffering people around the world. Please send us all of your details and a list of the valuables you wish to contribute. We will respond with the best way to transfer the gifts.
Q Recently I received some labels, gift cards, or a key chain in a mailing. How can I order more?
A We’re sorry, we only order enough for the mailing at the time, so we don’t have any more to give out. We do appreciate your support for suffering people. Thanks again.
Q Will I receive a receipt for my donation to MMI?
A Yes, we give out receipts for most donations. You should get it within a few days of your donation in most cases. Sometimes it may take a little longer, especially during major emergencies or during some holiday seasons.
Q Is my donation tax-deductible?
A All donations over HK$100 are tax deductible. You just need to fill in the donation amount on your Tax Return Form to the Inland Revenue Department and submit a copy of the donation receipt if necessary.
Q Are you tax-exempt?
A Yes, we are a tax-exempt organisation. Please be sure to check with your tax adviser for particular questions regarding tax laws.
Q How can I remember MMI in my will or make a bequest?
A Many people want to remember needy children in their wills but don’t know how. Check with your legal professional and ask him or her to make MMI a beneficiary of your will. He or she will know the exact form to use. Thank you for thinking about MMI in this way. We are so grateful that you want to include us in your will, and these bequests often mean the difference between life and death for needy children.
